Are ghosts real and visible to see or are they only spiritual creatures?

can i have loads of information on this please and from people who have had personal experiences of seeing a ghost ( serious answers please )

I think it's possible to see them, as solid flesh and blood people, but that more commonly they are seen as shadows, either full on or out of the side of your eye.
I've only seen them in shadow form - fully formed, but dark, no visible features. Scary.

Its all in your mind. What you believe becomes your reality. If you are desprate you will believe anything. If some one tells you a house is haunted you will go into the has with 2 choices. That the house is really haunted, then you wil actually think you are seeing ghosts of feeling their 'presence.' Or you will go into the house believing that they dont exist and you will see and feel nothing. The mind is a wonderful but tricky thing. You must discover the truth for youself, what do you want to believe.

This is what I think.

It is nearly impossible for ghosts to truely exist and not to completely know that they are there. For you to see something there must be matter or energy in it. Matter can neither be created nor destroyed, with the exeption of antimatter. Which if you've ever seen antimatter and matter combine it will create a large explosion. Also E=mc^2, has a bit to do with it as well. Light is a form of energy, if you pair that to the other side of the equation mass times the speed of light squared, mass is 0. therefore the entire side is 0. E then = 0, no energy no light, the energy would have to come for elsewhere, meaning it would such the energy for multiple house probably for miles everytime a ghost would appear. Everytime it disappears there would be a large expolsion. I think it would be hard to miss any ghost, if there were real.

I know thats not what you wanted to hear, but thats my 2 cents.

Ghost are real. You can see them if you have your heart and mind open to see them. Some times you only can hear them, yet you can see some of the things they do, such as shutting doors, moving objects around, etc.

Some ghosts do not want people to see them, reason for which they must be invoked to manifest themselfs before the intermediary (medium) and those around.

There is a hotel in New England where I stayed once and saw a nice old lady in a chair near my room. When I turned to my door and looked to wave at the sweet lady, she was gone. I asked the maid about it who told me she had seen nobody. When I went to the manager's office, I asked about the lady and she pulled an old photgraph. The lady was there. She had died in 1903.

I can't say that what I saw was her ghost. I need more evidence than just a mere sighting to reach that conclussion.

They are only visable when they have contracted enough energy to show themselves to you. Hence the myth that when paranormal investigators walk into a house that is supposedly haunted, their battery drains out quickly, because the spirit is trying to gather enough energy.
I have had several experiences, unfortunatly, I've never seen one.
At my aunts house when I was about 12 I took several pictures in a mirror, there was a big ole face staring right at me when I got it developed, before this i never thought the house was haunted in any way. Sometimes I would watch things on my desk slowly rearrange themselves.
Very scary.

well, i'm not really sure, but on many occasions i have heard or seen things that are not easly explaniable, for example, i have seen shadows that should not be there and heard voices when no one was there, the norm, at least for ghosts, the only two times i ever saw anything "solid" was in Japan and France, when i was small we lived in a house in Tokyo, and as i was walking down the hallway i saw an older women sitting by the window, i greeted her first in Japanese, then in english and she said nothing, i was very small at the time, so i just walked off, later i asked my mother who that was and she said that there was no one of the kind in the house. then, there was France, i saw an older man walking down the hallway in my hotel

My wife can smell our dead sister-in-laws perfume from time to time. We lived in a house where odd things occured. Dragging noises,footsteps, temperature fluctuations , the whole she-bang. But never saw a ghost...yet.

my aunt lives in haunted house and her ghost isnt a white spectral, its more like a silhoulette or a shadow. my mom has seen it twice, once outside and once inside. and shes heard it like 5 times inside the house. it bangs on pipes and slams stuff around the house. its just making noise. and it seems to not like strangers in the house because its scared plenty of people away. he seems to watch over the people inside.
