Since cricket is a game of uncertainities as has been proved on number of occasions, it will not be possible to correctly predict the winner of any tournament in advance. The final outcome will depend on how the teams perform during the world cup.
Hence the safe prediction one can make is that any of the top 8 teams has a chance to win the world cup.
