KA is right about the scams part!

First and foremost, have in your hand a BVI work permit.......dont belive someone who says they'll get it for you when you get there....BVI is very tough on foreigners ( ie Americans) taking jobs locals could have......

then be prepared to pay 30- 50% above Stateside for just about everything....VG is at the END of the supply chain !

That you have the right papers to work and live there to start with. Then be sure you have the job as there are lots od scams out there. Then look for a contact, an apt , transportation,etc.
