Two incidences of gunmen on shooting sprees happen on the same day. This kind of thing always happens in clusters within a very short period of time and then nothing again. Like someone is activating a technology to provoke sensitive people. Who is pushing the button and why? To destroy our second amendment?

I've often wondered this myself. People with no prior criminal record, no psychological disorders, no violent tendencies, good spouses and parents just snap? That doesn't make any sense.

People die, people are murdered, it happens. If it is video taped it happens over and over until we tire of it. The stories are told by the elders, we listen to them as long as they are interesting to us, then we shuffle on to another story teller.
This is the way it has been since humans first developed a language of common mis-understanding.

I think it happens more often then we are led to believe. However, which ever one is more news worthy then that is what will be on the evening news.
