I've often wondered that. Why a mass murder person like Sadam Hussian gets a trial and then excuted and it is neatly done, and the decision is over with. It is the same for any criminal act. He gets a fair trial among a jury. what ever the decision is final. Why can't we have a world court. Everyone airs their grieviances and say a jury of 200 or 300 votes and makes a decision. People out of all nations and tribes and walks of life. Unbiased and ready to make a right decision.
We all respect the decision that is made and abide by that decison. Wether it be to limit population and require people to limit their familys size or should some big company be allowed to make these people move and sell their house to build a lake.
Or a decison over oil. Who gets the revenue from the sale of the oil. Should it be divided up evenly between the population of that country. If this small band of warriors destroys a city and rapes and kills. Everyone in the whole world comes down on them and they are put inprison or excuted.
In Europe the countrys were divided and there was no federal government which resulted in wars. Abraham Lincoln could see that coming and said no. We will have states that will answer to the federal government. Guess what it is working.
You rarely see California, which is bigger than Germany.
Who did go to war with poland that is smaller than Idaho.
We would be shocked to see California declare war on Idaho.
Why??? because any differences is settled in Federal court.
so it does work. We could have a Federal court for Europe.
A world court for the world. Call it the United Nations, yea, that would be a good name. So why isn't it working?
