1. All kinds good, bad, sad, happy, scary, exciting ect. it's all about being human.
2. There's a part of the brain that is used for storing information, and thats where are memories are.
3. I am sure there have been experiments on how the memory part of our brain works.
4. Reading is a great, why to exercise your brain and improve remembering and improve memory. A good diet helps too.

Well...you probably want to check en.wikipedia.org for the information, and they'd supply links to other sites about memories.
But I've heard that your memory, the one you use to remember stuff, can be improved if you learn how to play an instrument.
