If they acted more masculine then feminine?

When people call homosexuals derogatory names especially men what most people will say is that they are acting like women, like men that are sissies instead of what they are *Men* People say men that are having homosexual relationships in prison are still acting like men not girly types so to speak.

When people call someone queer or he's so gay they are saying that statment from many people I hear talking that Gay Men are acting like women...

So do you say a Gay Man that has very feminie qualities are born that way? or is that totally enviromental?

Maybe, if only because people won't think that they're gay. If people know full well that a more "masculine" guy is gay, then unless he's physically threatening they're going to give him most of the same problems any other gay guy gets. It's just easier for people who tend towards what this society labels as "masculine" traits to hide.

A man of feminie qualities is not always considered gay. Men are not born to be gay it comes from traits of being too protective by motherhood and growing up around too much feminie traits. So grow up with a desire to be feminine more than masculine. Gay men do act like women and women also act like men. So far as men in prison it is the same as the outside world except it is more secretive.

Yes, I think that gay men generally do have a *slightly* easier time in the straight world when they are masculine. But only slightly; once their orientation is out, the same sort of crud gets flung at them.

I don't think that femininity or masculinity is genetic into someone, but I do believe that it's a combination of your born personality and your environment that determines your behavior (which is something always can be modified. Can be, not should necessarily be).

The things is, no gay man should have to change his behavior in order to avoid teasing, hatred, bigotry, etc., etc.. A gay man's effeminacy is not free license to treat him any differently than a gay masculine man.

Hope that helps.

Well, first of all I´d like to know What do you call "the straight world". After that let me tell you most of the gay men doesn´t have girly manners as you think. That´s just an idea sold by tv that´s all.

Some gay man has very feminie qualities because they have the feeling to be that way in order to let know all men interested they are available

Absolute garbage, why are certain people allowed to breed for Gods sake. I'm sorry but this has to be, without a doubt, one of the most puerile questions I've seen.

First off, most gay men don't act feminine. To be sure there are a fair share, but hardly the number you are presuming. Secondly, given that many gay men are sports athletes, actors, truck drivers, cops and military, I doubt very much that they would last long in those bastions of Machismo.

As for those gay men who are feminine, so what?! Why do some straight people, who clearly are so bored and sad with their own lives, feel the need to even comment. That's what you should be asking, but instead you ask a tired and oft repeated question that does nothing but annoy the rest of us.

Dearest Marie,
It is my sincere wish that you will stop focusing on the lives of LGBT people and get back to your own, where hopefully you will stop insulting and demeaning others.

Every person is different. There is no such thing as "all gay men" or "all ignorant bigots" or "all left-handed martians" doing anything, or being any one particular way. This is the very definition of a stereotype.

Have a great day, and try to be a Christian for a change.
XOX

p.s. From a bearish, very masucline gay man who still has manners, which you would probably label "feminine," since they involve being considerate to others.

The problem with the perception of the LGBT community is that often the only examples people see are the very, very obvious LGBT's. Feminine Gay Men, Hyper-Masculine Lesbian Women, etc.

A lot of us, myself included, act very gender oriented. I like working on cars, I enjoy computers and video games and I aspire to be a Mathematician.

I think there's way more LGBT out there than many assume, it's just not all of us can be picked out of a crowd.

I am gay and I act very masculine. My bf is msculine and so are all the lovers I had before I had a bf. Most gay men I know don't act feminine at all. Funny how that works, a man acting like a man. what a fresh idea.

The Majority of Gay Men don't act feminine, you are simply pointing at stereotypes again, but considering your other questions I suppose it should come as no surprise that you believe such stereotypes are the rule instead of the exception. You wouldn't be able to spot 90% of gay men out there at all.

I think there are two kinds of gays: a normal gay who is masculine, and a feminine (queer) gay who like to become a girl.

Normal gays are just normal men. Queer gay is just social sickness, not biological issue.
