I'm not ashamed of my skin color at all. I'm a black female, and I believe that each and every one of us are meant to be the skin color we are. I personally like my skin tone which is a light caramel. Think about it, if we were all the same color and the same race, and we all came from the same culture, this world would be a very boring place. We are all different races and colors for a reason. People just make it out to be something worse but it isn't. We are here to unify, but some people will never grasp that concept. No matter what color you are please be proud of it. In the end were all of one race and that's the human race.

I'm not ashamed of my skin color at all, I'm Indian and I can tan without burning, and also look good without being in the sun for a while. My skin color represents my heritage, and my heritage is a very big part of who I am. To be ashamed of my skin color would be like being ashamed of my parents, and I come from too loving of a family to feel that way.
Sure, it sucks when people assume I'm a radical muslim, but others people ignorance will not make me ashamed of who I am.

Wouldn't say ashamed, but little depressing. As a fair skinned person, always using the suntan products so I won't burn as red as a carrot-so that keeps alot of outside activities (like beaches) to a minimum and shorts-don't even waste time wearing them. You learn to ignore peoples comments, but they do get tiring. Can't we all just get along. lol..
