For example, in my school bathroom, the lighting is very flaurescant and seems to exaggerate every one of my flaws. At home, I don't look bad at all, but at school, I look absolutely hideous!

More light more truth, to know the truth, illuminate the face instead of illuminating the mirror. Some people when using the mirror points the light towards the mirror instead of illuminating what is to be seen in front of the mirror.

Oh, for sure! I hate looking at myself in flourescent light. Just remember, that's not what you really look like. When you're just hanging out in rooms or outside, you do not have flourescent lights on you at all times. Natural light is the best, and I think makes us look the best. The worst part is having to put makeup on in the nasty light, because it looks totally different in natural light!

Yes Florescent lights make you look more washed out & white. And they bring out any skin discoloration you have. Thats why I hate store & school lights!

Maybe, you need a brighter light at home, and do your make-up accordingly!
