I had that a few weeks ago, my whole mouth and throat was really sore. It cleared itself up on its own, i used lemsips to ease it.

The v shaped spots on your tongue are always there, i found them too when my throat was sore, we just dont normally look for them. I know this cos i got really worried and i looked it up!!!!

You could go to the doctors to be on the safe side for your sore throat, but the v-shaped spots are definitely normal.

If you look at the website, about half way down taks about the v-shaped lumps.

Strep throat, go see a doctor and you will need an antibiotic. Gargling with salt water does help the pain a bit.

Sounds like strep throat to me. I get it at least 2 every winter. You should go to the Dr, and get some meds to get rid of it.

Good luck

It sounds like strept throat. I used to get it every year. I would definately go to the doctor soon so you can get anti-biotics and get better. The longer you wait the worse it will get and you will get extremely sick!
