I have a toshiba portege 7010ct and when I turn it on it gets stuck at the "Toshiba In touch with tomorrow " screen. I cant even enter the BIOS. The hdd light blinks twice and then it just freezes, the hdd is working I tested it on another laptop.

Could be pretty much anything hardware related. I would try it with new memory first, as that is the easiest to change out. If that doesn't solve the problem, you are going to want to take it in for service.

try pressing that little reset button next to the silver power button a few times with a pen tip and it should refresh the start up. I had the same problem with my toshiba portege 7010ct but it works now.
