All things considered, I think so. Men need a lot of experience in life before they understand relationships the way women do, because women are naturally more sensitive.

Much older??? How many years? 10 years? 20 years? No thanks a lot, it would feel like being married with your daddy.
I agree, that if a young girl gets married the guy should be a couple of years older than her, as guys are very childish and mature much slower. But honestly around the age of 30 all this age difference doesn´t matter anymore, it would even be okay for a 35 year old woman to marry a 30 years old guy. At this age both are grown up and adults.

I am more concerned with marrying a man that I love. And really by your idea of a woman getting older than a man (I assume you are referring to them living longer), you would actually want a man a few years younger. So #1 is an argument for older but #2 is actually an argument for younger.
My fiance is 2 years younger than I am. I have dated younger and dated older. He is the first person I have ever loved so completely. He is the first person I knew I could not possibly live without. Because of these reasons...I said yes when her proposed.
One more thing...by the time you are in your late 20s, you are pretty much on par in maturity with each other anyway. And in my opinion you should marry late 20s and beyond, because by then you have actually lived a life and both bring knowledge and maturity to the table.

One is for the money (the girl gets whilst he croaks). 2 is for the youthfulness the guy gets. a youthful spouse keeps him youthful. look at Hugh Hefner, now in his 80's with 3 (3!) stay-in girlfriends--21, 26, and 32. (it was 7 stay-in girlfriends, yet they fought too lots so he downsized)...in case you p.c. to stay youthful, study to relish what adolescents relish. no longer something a while you swifter than an uneventful, previous spouse; you may besides be lifeless. Sexually, there is not any reason an previous guy won't be in a position to fulfill a youthful lady. He won't be as lively as a youthful guy, yet he's greater matured. Psychologically, there may well be some limitations via diverse existence reviews, yet 2 human beings would be properly suited even with age. If the two p.c. to study or do study, then there could be no subject. If one likes to stay homestead and the different one likes to party all nighttime, properly that would reason issues based on the folk in touch.

I met my husband of 12 years when we were in college. He was 21, and I was 24. I would say that age has nothing to do with a commitment to a long lasting marriage. Much more important is integrity, humor, and attitude.

If you really want to look at age, however, you need to consider that women tend to outlive men, so if the woman is older, the couple would be more likely to live for the same length of time.

My husband is 12 years older than I am. Sometimes when he talks to me, it makes me feel like I am a child, and he is my parent. Sure it's nice to have someone around who "has been there, done that," but it would also be nice sometimes if we could learn about things together.

It can be like traveling to a new place with a tour guide all of the time. Sometimes you just want to wander and discover things on your own, or together for that matter. Half the fun of learning new things is the process, not the end result.

It can also chip away at your self-esteem because you feel like you never know what you're doing or talking about.

You're very right. Its not for the reason that girls mature earlier then boys but for the simple reason that girls are physically less strong and having a older man is a great help in yer day to day life. Elderly males, are all rounder.Utilise them which ever way u can.By the way I am also elderly.

Your both reasons are also correct: There are more reasons to add 1)in the nature world, elder living animals or human beings will dominate: so if the woman is elder she will dominate:
2) man has the stamina and strength to do face any even though he is younger.

so elder without strength and younger without proper age are not possible to cooperate

So it is better for a man to marry a woman younger to him

I'm Mexican and I'd like to share my personal experience that turned to be all the contrary to what you are saying. I got divorced because my ex-husband, who was 12 years older and I, weren't able to walk forward to the same goal and life purposes. He was more life experienced and he used this knowledge to take advantage over me, he lied a lot to me because he was cheating on me. My new partner is 2 years younger than me and I've found the importance to learn together about life, love and sex. Besides, we have similar habits and hobbies, what makes life easier to deal with.

It is not necessarily better! It all depends on the guy. There are plenty of older guys out there that are very immature and untrustworthy. However, there are many men who are young and very mature. I wouldn't completely rule a man based on his age, you could be making a huge mistake.
