Here's a lesson to all bands, if you want "pity" awards, just shout derogatory comments about your president, get a third of your country(or more) to send you hate mail, lay-low for a couple of years, release a crappy album, and wait for your awards to arrive by the dozens! My advice to the dixie chicks is, keep your mouths shut, you sound a lot better that way!!!

the dixie chicks were given those grammys because the left tried to make a statement about PRESIDENT BUSH. If Natalie Maines had made her comment on American soil I dont think there would have been as big an uproar

They should never have won 1 let along 5 they suck. Natalie should keep her mouth shut, she can't even put 2 intelligible words together. Toby Keith is the best and he is the classy one not saying a word and staying in the background. hes the class act not the dumb chicks!!!

I don't believe that they deserve 5 grammys, but I do like some of their music. As far as their comments they can say what they want, just as you can.

everyones entitled to theyre own opinion...but if you dont like them why do they bother you so badly..they were just voicing theyre own opinions and obviously some people agreed with them or they would have attained such success....drama and contoversy are great free publicity....stars, celebs and musicians use it all the time.....they dont bother me...i liked theyre old stuff but havent really heard any of theyre new stuff....
