Well, though it depends on what you define as free games, but finding programs such as emulators can be used to run roms of games, which are available for free download on many sites at a simple web search. Also, programs such as bittorrent - http://bitorrent.freakin.nl/ can get you free games. Some games will need a CD key or other form of registration - this you will need to find yourself.

They have lots of links to download game files off of big servers like rapidshare or megaupload. A good site for free online games is http://www.1980-games.com/us/ or http://www.smashingames.com/

Runescape (Swords and Sorcery)-It's a low-graphic game but can becom EXTREMELY addictive, it's free2play but if you get into it $5 a month will open a much bigger world and possibilities
