Your parent but when you were younger you lost touch due to adoption, what would you do?

That's pretty creepy. If you were just lovers (not married) I would laugh and say "oops". And that's it.
I remember the story of two people who met through an adopted children's support group. They married and had 5 children. After a number of years a person who was one of their siblings (also adopted) found them. After more research was done, it was eventually found that they were in fact brother and sister, who were never separated by a great distance.
What can they do? They had been married for about 18 years. They had loads of kids and their families and everything.
They chose to just put it out of their minds. What's done is done and can't be changed. Their common genetics was just coincidence. Their 5 kids were healthy and fine. Years later their kids started having families of their own and no problems arose.

What surely you would have figured this out before 15 years. If i had given someone up for adoption x amonut of years ago id think about them everyday and when you met someone that was the same age as your child would be surely it would go through your head that you have a child that age and you just wouldn't go there!!!

Write a novel and become rich and famous. Go on talk shows and blab about it to the world.
Almost makes a person want to take a DNA test before dating anyone.

Run away and hide first... But then you would have to ask yourself some serious questions about your mental health and the ability to deal with the problems personal and social that you will be faced with if the relationship continues.

i would go crazy and fight him or her for obvious reasons and would be so embarrased and as for you maybe you should go write a couple of shows for law and order cause where the hell did you come up with that
