I BOUGHT A NEW DIGITAL WEBCAM HP AND I TRY TO USE IT ON YAHOO MESSENGER AND IT COMES UP "MESSENGER QUITE UNEXPECTELY AND HAS STATRED YOUR PLUG IN PLAYS IN SAFE MODE. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET IT TO WORK?

You might want to
1.unplug your cam
2.un-install the software
3.reinstall the software (don't plug in the web cam until after your done)
If that wont work check the driver and see if you can update it or look on the box for a website or phone #. if all else fails you might want to consider finding that receipt :)

you might have to upgrade your messenger to get it to work. i had a cam and it said it wouldnt work unless i upgraded to the next level of messenger.
