Well i have a funny story to tell about something like this. When i was in elementary school somebody from my class' father died and of course the whole class was made to attend the funeral. There was a mentally challenged boy in my class and i don't know how else to explain it but he always had a DUH face on all the time. Do at the mass when the priest was giving the sermon and everyone in the class was crying, the mentally challenged boy just had his usual DUH look and i found it hilarious. I burst out laughing and was escorted by teachers out of the church.

Normally I can keep control of myself in those situations, but I have a bad tendency to have random, ludicrous thoughts at any given moment. The Simpsons rip-off of Barney the dinosaur had been frequently popping into my head lately, singing 'two plus two is four', and I've cracked up at some pretty inappropriate moments.

Yeah. I think the worst was when I burst out laughing during a quite serious discussion at Bible study. My mind was working at gutter level at that particular moment.

No but I have burst out laughing before when I'm trying to correct and discipline my 3 yr old for something she's done wrong. It can get bad. She'll do something inappropriate but as I'm correcting her I burst out laughing because even as wrong as it is what she did was hilarious as well.

All the time.....I don't think it makes me look mean, it's part of my charm. I'm just not all that excited about seriousness. I'm totally that girl that will laugh if someone hurts themself too....sad, but hey, sometimes it's FUNNY!!!!!

I do it a lot too.. I can't help it either. It's usually because their "serious issue" is something really stupid.

Me too. I think it's the body's natural reaction to stress that does it.
