Just wondering as it`s my sons name and people either love it or hate it,thanx.

I`ve seen a few different meanings,in Hawiian it means ocean but before he was born i read in a magazine it meant strong one,fighter,surviver and as he was born very premature this is why i chose it.

I like it Nati.... very nice name...

...But who cares who likes it or not, as long as you do.... Too late now you have registered your sons name!

It reminds me of that skit that Tracy Ullman did on her show - she was an English woman named Kay, but she pronounced it Kai.

Outside of that, I don't have a strong feeling about it. I lean toward not liking the harsh sound it makes, though.

I love it! My nephew is called Kai. In Japan it also means ocean. If my nephew didn't have that name I would call a boy Kai.

German for Prince, my absolutely devine German son- in- laws name . If your son grows up to be anything like him you'll be very very proud. I like it.

my daughter wanted to call her baby that. every second person is called that now so she went off it.
