Not for a long time, but I think it will happen someday.
Look what happened to the Roman Empire. They got too big, they bit off more than they could chew, their leaders got arrogant and began to believe that they could and should run the whole world....and it all fell apart.

I dunno if you live in the USA, but I do. Now, I love my country very much, but yes as the saying goes "Rome fell too." There are many people in the USA who *do not* support the war in Iraq but are still very patriotic. I live in Michigan and in my home state alone, the "Bush" ratings (how good of a job we think the president is doing overall) are 80% no and 20% yes. So in other words, not many Michiganders support Bush or the war. The reason we are still patriotic is because we have our boys and girls over there and many (not all) people want them out. The U.S. public was given false information at the beginning of the Iraqi war. This is why we supported the war then and not now. I myself cannot stand Bush, nor ever have been able to. I think he is a very rash thinker and makes he decisions based on what he believes. I do not want the U.S.A. to "disappear" from the world, but I fear, along with many other people that something big is going to happen to the U.S. and its allies.

Everything in this world has a beginning and an end. Every civilization had its rise and its fall. And so will the USA.

I don't think the U.S.A. will disappear, but it will cease being a "superpower" if it doesn't change.
