No you do not have to be skinny to be a stipper., If that were the case then every stripper/Entertainer would look the same. Men want a variety., Stripping isn't like the show " The Next Top Model" where they are skin and bones.

I hate skinny strippers. I prefer them to be very curvy with hips, a.ss and titties. My girlfriend and i just went to a strip club this wkend and i almost threw up when this blond chick came out, she was like 5'7 and looked like she weighed about 110 pounds. She looked like a AIDS patient. It was nasty.
