Firstly you need to slow yourself down and stop wanting something "ASAP". Secondly... I don't want the ten points even if you think mine is best answer because I hate people feeling they're doing us a favour by giving 10 points and using it like some kind of BIG reward.....Wow.

You just need to phone your dad and introduce yourself, your dad will obviously want to know what you've been up to in your life...he'll also, no doubt, ask how your mum is..... all you need to do is answer him. Tell him all about what you've been doing. Easy. When the conversation's finishing, if he hasn't said "keep in touch", then ask him if he minds you phoning again.

I wish I could phone my dad, he's been dead 17 years now and I would give anything to have a conversation with him. I would never ask anyone to tell me what to say to him, though, that's personal. Just don't leave for tomorrow what you can do today, tomorrow may be too late. My dad was just 50 when he passed away very suddenly.

Dad: Hello?
you: Hey whats up?
dad: nothing, what are you doing?
you: online, trying to have a stranger teach me what to say to my own father. its kind of weird, i know, but its ok cuz they're writing me a conversation to talk to my friend too.
dad: I always knew you were born autistic. why cant you form words to make a conversation?
you: idk....i dont know what to say because the person didnt include this in the conversation they wrote down for me *hangs up phone frantically*

Dear Patrick,
Really be glad you can still pick up the phone and talk to your Dad mine is dead and believe me he did ALOT of F* up stuff to me and my brothers and sister when we were growing up ALOT!
So why dont you just start by saying that..

Hey Dad..
I was just on the computer and this chick said I was lucky that you were still alive regardless of the differences between us..
I also wanted to say to you Happy Valentines day to you tommorow because no matter what BS we have between us I love you Dad...Your my only Dad...

This script can also apply to your friend and if he is not callin his DAD it can be replaced with MOTHER/grandma/sister/girlfriend whoever

ya know that song " i just called to say i love you" well try it, he's your dad, do it before theres no dad to call and say anything, my dads gone, wish i could call him, and ya know what, he would'nt have cared what i had to say, just the fact that i took the time to pick up the phone would have been enough, just do it!

You: Hi, dad?

Him: Hi son, this is your father.

You: There's something I wanted to talk to you about...

Him: Oh right, what's that?

You:

Him: Oh OK son, thanks for telling me

You: Thanks for listening, Dad.

To a friend:

You: Hi Friend,

Them: Hi,

You: I just spoke to my dad,

Them: Oh right, what about?

You: I told him that thing I wanted to tell him

Them: Oh OK, that's good mate

You: Yeah I know. OK bye.

Them: bye.
