Hey that happened to me too...I got interested in messenger chatting with someone and the time went by before i knew it was 2-3 in the morning and i went to bed all wound up. Sleep is a habit like anything else...and you have to do it regular, so start going to bed at your regular time and even if you don't sleep don't do anything that would wake you up like getting interested in something on the net...do something boring..like reading war and peace and if you don't go to sleep in 30 minuites try meditation...then get up have some
warm MILK and go back. after a few night you should sleep but stay away from the computer especially if it gets you to excited to sleep.

For some reason you are not getting the right kind of sleep through the night. Everyone should go through phases of sleep the two deepest are delta and rem and if you are not getting this sleep you will be tired and feel bad. There is only one sleep system that I have heard of that really helps you to get this kind of sleep. And it really work for my husband, it was so hard for him to get up in the morning, he often ran late. After we got this sleep system he started getting up as early as me. I love the time we spend together in the mornings. Here is a link to were you can look at the sleep system. If you are interested call the lady and ask about being a preferred customer, you will get 10% off. Hope you sleep well soon.

You have changed your bio-rhythm. You need to reset your bio-clock. To do this, first one hour before you want to go to bed you turn off your computer, second turn off all lights and put on some static sounds if you prefer quiet than that is better but I worked third shift and People move about during the time I wanted to sleep so having some noise to drown them out is important. However if you don't have that problem than just lay down and let nature take its course. If you still have trouble try taking 50 mgs of Benidryle or dephenhydromenehydrocloride (Generic bedidryle) and/or drink Chamomile tea before bed. That has calming qualities. If you still are too awake. Stop drinking coffee for a while. Than if you still are having trouble. Go to a doctor and get something stronger to put you out. But once you reset your clock go to bed the same time every night for at least a month. Get up at the same time. Once you reset your clock you will get up at the same time and get sleepy at the same time.

Your body clock is all messed up. Since you can't get up after sleepng at night you need to have someone physically get you out of bed if you want to start being able to get up in the morning again. You state you sleep ok no matter when you go to bed so that is good but have someone get you out of bed at a preset time every day to help get your body on track since it seems an alarm clock doesn't work for you. I spent 18 years working graveyard shift and now 13+ years on 3-11 so I am a night owl and don't get up till 9 AM now but I have no need to change my life. You on the other hand seem to want to change so get someone to help you.

You put your system and sleep patterns way out of whack. You need to start setting a regular bedtime and a regular wake up schedule. When you go to bed make it relaxed and make it bedtime. Set your alarm for a regular time and force yourself to get up. It may take a couple of days or even weeks but maintain a schedule and your body will adapt. Good Luck
