You can purchase do it yourself kits. However you are best to seek legal counsel, there are many little rules regarding tax law and next of kin that should be taken into account when drafting you will.

yes there is several as a matter of fact..but my recommendation is to buy one. they are very inexpensive. I believe I gave $15 for mine and it did exactly what I wanted it to do. When I purchased my new computer I just reinstalled it..It was called Legal Library and it has all kinds of wills, power of attorney, deeds etc.

There are some legal documents online - depending on the state. A search for 'free wills' in Google should help.

I note that you can get pretty decent 'legal' document software in Staples - in fact I got mine free with HR Tax this year.......
