If there were a new country where you only had to live with people who agreed with your side politically, would you do it? Your party would set all the laws and ideals for this new land, and you could live the way that makes you happiest.

This is hypothetical, obviously, so don't get on me about how overthrowing the government is bad.

Democrat. A Republican nation would basically be a religious theocracy. Free speech would probably be banned

That's the easy way out.
If the republicans don't like the views of the democrats then too bad.
If the democrats don't like the views of the republicans then too bad.
The two sides have to learn to live and work together. They don't have an option because the other side is not going anywhere. The US isn't Red or Blue, it's purple.

There would be no such scenario, "A US of Democrats could not survive without Republicans to protect them from themselves and outsiders.Democrats exists in a world of make-believe and would be non functional as a separate entity.

"Democrats" simply because as you said the ideals would be similar to mine...as long as there not way out to the left...I'm a moderate.
