Should the government chase off immigration or open the borders?

Do you know of any opposing or supporting groups for this issue?

It's not just about immigrants from Mexico and South America. The USA has a quota. There are people in Europe, Asia, and Africa who are standing in line waiting to come here. If we just open the floodgates for everyone, consider the consequences. Housing shortages, hospitals and schools even more overwhelmed, increased racial tensions, food bank distribution problems, diseases, increased crime ... and on and on. Our immigration policy is to admit just so many each year legally... it's always been that way. It's simple logistics. To simply open the borders would create chaos that most people cannot fathom.

Stop calling it immigration. Immigration is when people go through the correct procedures to become legal US residents. Immigration is a good thing. Invasion is not.

Personally, I don't mind immigration.....that is what this country was founded on....different people coming here for freedoms....However, there is a process for it...and that needs to be followed. So I guess I am for controlled immigration....any illegals need to be rounded up and sent home....those people who do things the right way, Welcome to the US.
