Unfortunately, I demand no less than perfection from myself and I tend to think that because I am willing to work towards it, that everyone else around me should too. In fact, if I ask someone to do something and later on they say, "I know I said I would but I just got sooo tired. I had to go grocery shopping and that really takes it out of me!" I'm very likely to be rude and fire back with something like, "Must be nice to have so much time to flit around and slack off while the rest of us pull your weight." It's not right, and most of the time I bite my tongue but my drive for flawlessness has alientated more than one person over the years.

"Do as I say not as I do." Who didn't hear that growing up?
As a result... I think we are a nation of people who do this and feel we have the right.
Only intelligence can counteract all the crap our parents did to us!

No why would I expect things from others that I'm not willing to do myself?

I certainly try not to.. and try to check that.
Demand is a strong word.
I don't think I do.
