During the superbowl night, I got really upset with a guy friend of mine(let's call him A) so I went to my other close guy friend(let's call him B)'s room(We live in a dormitory) and asked him if we can talk. I vented what was bothering me. I didn't expect him to follow me to my room though.

Long story short we spilled everything about each other to each other(bared our souls or whatever you want to call it), then the next thing we know we're exploring each other's bodies and he was very gentle, talking me through as we had our sexual encounter.

After that he stayed a bit longer to talk and then he had to go, we hugged several times.

Was that a one night stand or love making?

We never had sex again after that but we're still much closer friends.

it was lovemaking, he's still talking to you and it's not funny btw you two.

a one night stand is sex and you never see or talk to the person again.

if you guys are more loving towards eachother you might want to talk about it, there might be a great relationship there.

Did you feel that you were hesitant in the love making? If not then you did not break a boundary. Your boyfriend established a boundary with the Superbowl and you were left to fend for yourself. What one aspect of the love making stands out in your memory. If it is closeness and respect, then follow your heart. It sounds like you had a Super" time of your own! Good for you!!

Sounds like you both just acted on an impulse. Friends can have friend sex sometimes and it be completely respectable but doesn't change the nature of the friendship. If there has been no further show of affections, I would say it was just a friend in need, making a friend indeed!

Considering the environment of this occurance... most likely a one night stand. Sorry to say that but - guys will often pour their hearts out in order for girls to open up physically. Have you heard the saying : Men use their hearts(love) to get sex and women use sex to get love. But maybe I am wrong.. has he had contact with you since? Good luck.

I would say its neither. It wasnt a random encounter with someone you barely know and will never see again so its not really a one night stand.

Its also not a person you are in love with (from what it sounds like) so its not really "love making" either.

You had a special night witha dear friend. You dont have to label every experience.

Call it what you will but i call that a possible one night stand, you make love with the person you have committed your like to not your close guy friend. I have tons of close guy friends that i tell my all to but we never get intiment or anything outside the norm...

Its hard to tell. If it was a one night stand, y'all would not still be communicating. What do you want it to be? is what you should be asking yourself. I think he believes that it was something that just happened. I bet he's thinking about it as much as you if not more. Y'all crossed this line between friends and bump buddies...you might need to have that conversation with him. Just to see. It's fa sho not a one night stand though.

In my opinion I believe that you can only make love to someone that you are in love with. So I would say if you weren't in love with him before, that it was a one night stand. It appears that maybe you both were just caught in the moment and gave into temptation.

It might have just been sex between friends and might have only been a one time thing, but to really know for sure, you need to talk to each other about it.

It doesn't sound like a one night stand to me. Typically one night stand's involve strangers that barely know each other's names...
