I love to watch Fox news in the mornign when I get my kids ready for school. A friend of mine has recently told me of how they are all pro bush and whatever, but my friend says that they only say certain things that make certain people look good?

Is that true?

Just recently, when that big stupid Nancy Pelosi plane scandal request. AFTER the Sgt at Arms made it clear that it was by his action to inquiry if Pelosi could have a bigger plane, Fox continued to publicize it and bring on republicans to make it seem like this was 'queen 'pelosi's agenda and outlandish requests and begin to slash at her character.

Even while GENERAL PACE stood before committee and said there is no link at this point to IRAN actually providing weapons to IRAQ directly, FOX is still out there trying to show why we have to support our president and add iranians to their list of terrorist along with the democrats.

And while the majority of other networks show extensive coverage of this new debate in the house, tht finally allows democrats to get a vote on this surge, fox has steered clear of it because they always have only shown whats best for this president and whats best for the republicans.

When the war broke out, EVEN RUPERT MURDOCH has been found to have attempted to lead american public to believing in the war. Never showed anything but what Bush wanted.
Now that its all coming to light, will we ever get an apology from FOX for intentionally misleading people?
If you watch FOX news as your only source of recent issues, then you are so much kept in the dark about how things are really going on in this world.

Coverage of the Libby trial for instance.
Its all coming to surface how Stewart Libby, and higher members of Executive branch actually repressed vital information that led us into the war, THAT SHOWS exactly how America was duped into going into this war, but on FOX...lets keep that covered up. Lets focus on other things.

Thats there motto at FOX. If its bad against the president, or the republicans, lets not talk about it.
Go elsewhere for your real news

No they keep the comments a lot less opinioned I think, They do not call Bush a liar. A liar has to know he is lying to tell a lie. So when they call Bush a liar they say he knew about the lies even though all the other intelligence agencies said the same. The liberally slanted media has showed their slant. By the way Fox News is more libertarian than Conservative.

while the conservatives will say fox news is not biased and the rest are liberal, they forget who every news station was on board for going to war in Iraq, it wasn't until people started to realize that they were lied to by bush. fox news is the only station that does not have anyone who will call out bush on this.

I must partially disagree with "leah" comment. 95% of all media is owned or operated by 5 major corporations. These corporations have vested interest that have an agenda (like leah stated) but they are all conservative. A senior editor that worked at CNN, FOX & MSNBC stated in his latest book (Cable News Confidential) that if a station brings a liberal viewpoint on then it must be confronted by 3 conservative viewpoints/guest but the opposite will never occur. Fox is notorious for spewing more disinformation that the other channels combined.

Yes, its true
FOX = Pro bush Pro Republican, the news is twisted to make his policies look good. Just like Cnn is geared toward liberals.

FOX is less biased - is most likely to present both (or more) sides to issues, therefore FOX viewers are better informed.

Most detractors will say negative things about FOX either because they've not tuned in and parrot hearsay, or what they saw/heard on FOX is not what they're programmed to want to see and hear.

No more true than any other network. Every network has their own agenda. ABC, NBC, CBS are all liberal, FOX is conservative.

Just be an informed consumer and get your news from more than one source.

It's really hard to find an unbiased opinion anywhere, these days. Watch whatever you want, just keep that in mind.
