what look are you trying to go for? sporty, then tennis shoes...casual...then mary janes....for ballet flats....a bit dressy high heals that your pants cover up, and so it elongates your legs.

Its not much wrong you can do with Jeans and a Polo. But keep the look "clean" as possible. With this look you will look preppy, but not like you are trying to hard to look causal.
