Yeah, we tend to be really insecure, which results in us getting jealous, sometimes over nothing.

A jealous Cancer is an emotional minefield.
we're so possessive and we don't respond well to having our security threatened.
You never know when we're upset. We seethe and roil until we bubble over or explode.
Oh, and we have VERY vivid, over-dramatic imaginations. We will blow any situation completely out of proportion.
If you're in a relationship with a jealous person of any sign, I would re-evaluate the relationship. Jealously is a form of emotional manipulation. It could, potentially, (and I'm not trying to scare you but it could, depending on the individual) lead to physical harm.

fyxe: your description sounds EXACTLY like a relative of mine. So yes, I do believe Cancers are jealous. However, they are jealous of things kind of out of the ordinary. Cancers are hard to explain and some of them are very hard to deal with. When Cancers are not in an emotional turmoil, they are real pleasant, but like fyxe said, you never know when they are in a bad mood, or what even brought it on.

Generally, yes. And very posessive and clingy... worse than a Scorpio.
Then again, that's just the Cancer in general - again, as I will repeat as much as I need to - the 'star sign' isn't the only thing that makes up a person's character. So if you're talking about someone born late june or in july, it doesn't mean he'll act like a typical cancer.

I'm a cancer myself and can honestly say I've never been described as the jealous type. Cancers are more homey, intuitive, sensitive, emotional, quiet, down to earth, needy.

Cancers are not jealous, per se. However, when faced with betrayal, they will never forget, nor will they ever have another thing to do with the one who has betrayed them. Cancers are best paired with Capricorns for lasting relationships.
