"Roll back Bush's tax cuts" means, your hosed! Pure and simple. Don't be fooled by the talk about "taxing the rich" and making the rich "pay their fair share". It's never gonna happen. Our tax laws never touch the rich because of the trust fund loophole. The Democrats aren't about to touch that one. That's where Teddy Kennedy and all the other Democrat millionaires keep their money -- tax free! Okay, so the rich are out of bounds, so who pays? The middle class, as always. Let's not forget that when Clinton was in, his tax increase defined rich as "$30,000 a year or more". That included the combined incomes of married couples, so two $15,000's could get soaked if they were married to each other! Just remember, Democrats don't define "rich" the way normal people do. Ask the average Joe or Jane what "rich" is and the answers will be in at least 6 figures. But for Democrats, it's a crummy 30 grand! What Democrats call "the rich" most of us call "the middle class." So when they talk about taxing the rich, hold onto your wallet. They're talking about everyone who's not on food stamps!

Roll back bush's tax cuts means top take the enormous undeserved tax breaks for the ultra rich away because they are not paid for and they are just adding to the 9 trillion dollar debt. What don't you NEO-CONs get about this theory?
Bush's tax cuts are a joke. They are NOT paid for so they are NOT real. All he is doing is raising the national debt and giving this money to Big Business. It doesn't count if you can budget the tax breaks into the budget!!!!!!!!!!!
Get a clue, a 5 year can understand this but not these so called "CONSERVATIVES"
And no it is not true that everybody will pay more taxes, lower and middle class people not see tax increases. The top 1%ers you no like that fat bastardd from Exon Mobile that got 400 million dollars for a retirement bonus, well he'll be the one paying higher taxes.................and thats bad why???????????
crazy bird where have you been living for the last 6 years? Bush has spent more money then any president in history, GET YOU FACTS before your speak!!!!!!!!

It means eliminate the tax cuts, which is a bad idea for many reasons.
And Detoth is an idiot - Treasury receipts have SKYROCKETED since the tax cuts were implemented.
Raising tax RATES may very well reduce tax REVENUE. This is what happened, after all, when Bush '41 raised tax rates...

You are right - "roll back tax cuts" means to eliminate the tax cuts the President put in place, and therefore, taxes will go up.

They want more money to throw away. Democrats always think they know how to spend your money better than you do. Government period does. Unfortunatly they obviously don't know how to handle it very well and live within their means like the rest of us have to do. But they can just spend, spend, spend and simply raise taxes to meet their wants. I think they need to cut, cut, cut and start feeling a little pinch around their waist lines. Wonder how many of them would take a pay cut for the betterment of this nation?

I am willing to bet 99% of the people that have answered here saying the tax breaks only helps the rich have never fully had to support themselves. I'm sure that mommy or daddy bankrolls there expenses. Wait until you enter the real world kiddies. You'll be screaming about paying so much in taxes. Enjoy your ignorance while you can afford to.

"Roll back" is the dems politically correct way of saying "get rid of" tax cuts, that is "raise taxes" They can't call it what it is, because you wouldn't be fooled and you don't want your taxes to go up. You see, you WERE fooled, because you didn't know what it meant!
