Of course it is ok to dream about stuff that will take a lot of time and effort to fulfill....there is NOTHING that can never be fulfilled...if you set your heart and mind to it, you can accomplish anything we want!
Also, we always have limits imposed on our reality, so why should we also impose limits on our dreams????

I see nothing wrong in having dreams even if you'll never fulfill them. it keeps you happy and excited about something.
