On principal, against. However, most famous people invite and encourage attention so they can't complain when that attention turns to their private lives.

I enjoy hearing about celebrities but I hate it when
1. the media invades their privacy
2. when the media focuses on the same person forever

I don't think they should make it such a big deal, but it's fun to read the occasional interview of your favorite star, but sometimes they go a little overboard.

but yeah. its not that i go out looking for bits of information. but if keira knightly is doing a buresque show in my hometown, i definitely want to be told about it.
