That's like asking if I'm a Blood or a Crip! I'm neither one. I don't belong to any criminal organization. I'm an American!

I am an American.
I have no political affiliation. I make an intelligent choice after I have listened to the candidates, read all I can get my hands on, watched the debates, watch how the candidate handles him/herself - especially in the face of adversity. I also discuss with my family, friends and peers. Then, I make my decision based on the one I think will be the best.
I have been wrong, I have been right - but it has been MY decision - not some drivel spouted from the party line or some dumbhead talk show idiot. I am the bane of both parties existence - I am an Independent.
No, I cannot vote in the primary elections because one must declare either Dem or Repub and I cannot do that. (Frankly, that's a law that should be changed). But - it is usually very clear who the candidates will be. Primaries are basically used by the candidates to change or modify their approach anyway and are pretty much useless. The real test comes on election day.

I am for integrity. I have not seen it for years. Party affiliation is just another way to keeps us at odds with each other and confused. I love America enough to let another party like the Libertarians have a shoot at it. But of course the corrupt Democrats and Republicans use their strong hold on the government to keep other parties from getting in through manipulation of requirements and laws.
Why shouldn’t people see only two parties? It is what the masses have been taught in government schools. The government’s indoctrination has started long ago and you can hear all the dead minds from just reading all the question and answers.
Ask yourself, why are so many people afraid of real change? Have our life gotten any better from the current party structure?
No!!!!
We have become so conditioned to see only two parties that the masses turn off to any other discussion of real change. Just look at this question, it asks if you are one of the two parties if though other ideologies don’t exist. Why did he not ask what is your party affiliation with stating Democrat or Republican? It goes back the that conditioning thing I mentioned earlier…

The pre-supposition of this question shows how conventional wisdom has been infected by the two-party system.
The way to make our country stronger is to begin supporting third party candidates.

I'm an open-minded conservative. I'll admit when I'm wrong. I'm not happy with either party right now.
