In reference to the question before yes a vaginal ultrasound was performed. I am having infertility problems and i had one done yesterday to check for PCOS, which i have. I was also supposed to get an HSG but he said my lining looked pretty thick so he didn't want to do that yet in case i am very ealy into pregnancy. I haven't had a period since December 24 but that is pretty normal for me I can be fairly routine (45 days or so) and then all of a sudden go months with out one. I have taken tests and they say i am not but maybe i miscalculated when i should start or maybe i am in one of my long droughts. Any opinions would be helpful.

I had the exact same problem as you do..
I have PCOS.. and had problems conceiving.. My periods were 4 months apart.. like clockwork.. for about 12 years before I had my children.

My first child.. my ob put me on provera, to make me ovulate.. and chlomid.. (50mg) and I got pregnant the first month..

The second child.. I was on chlomid for almost a year.. started at 50, then 100, then 150mg.. and then we gave up and he sent me to an infertility specialist..

I had about 500 vials of blood taken.. and about 50 vaginal ultrasounds.. and then the doctor put me on glucophage, and vitamins.. and did a procedure where he cleared out my tubes with dye??? .. and I still didn't get pregnant.

I finally couldn't stand all the poking and prodding, and the $$.. I think we spent about $8-9,000... and I finally gave up and gave away all my maternity clothes, and the crib..

And I got pregnant by myself 2 months later.

It's all so frustrating, and I completely understand what you're going through. After I had my second daughter, I got my tubes tied.. I thought "I don't want my body to start working NOW!!!!!" (I'm 36).

I'm sure they will be able to help you... just keep trying, and don't get so frustrated..

Be careful with that PCOS, also.. My little one is 2 1/2 years old, and I was just diagnosed as being diabetic.. which runs hand and hand with the PCOS. I'll be on that glucophage for the rest of my life now.. Please keep an eye on that..

Good luck, and email me if you have any questions!!

That's form of a crappy photo. Don't appear for a child in any respect. What it's is an enlarged view of his "kit". I are not able to fairly make out his legs, which I might anticipate are on both facet. The arrow is actually simply pointing to his wiener and the circular factor in the back of it's his scrotum. The whit elines are interference or legs- it is zoomed in an excessive amount of at the boy elements to inform. We had the identical snapshot at the display for a second while the child actually sat at the ultrasound probe and confirmed us his elements. The pics they revealed, despite the fact that had been the conventional head, backbone, hands, legs.

PCOS treatment; IUI, ICSI and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. The cost is very low and the medical services are very good in India.

My cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the Forerunners Healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is a known case of PCOS.She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full IVF treatment in India for which she was quoted 8000 pounds in private setup in UK.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. I read a lot about them in the newspapers. I have also read about a Chinese couple who planned surrogacy through the Forerunners Healthcare. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery and infertility treatment like IVF, IUI, and ICSI abroad for low price. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery and treatment can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

Have your doctor do a blood test to verify if your HCG is higher than normal. Good Luck, I can't tell you more that that.
