Well firstly it is very difficult get a good firend and then to maintain a good firendship is more difficult but not impossible.God has made us with different intelligence, taste, liking and thinking and still we are able to make good friends from amongst the society. Why,because something is common and this attracts each other to come closer and confide in each other in due course.

Good friends may open up between friends may not be hesitant to reveal but with parents and elders a distance is always maintained due to the respect factor and also fear factor, but with friends this is not there.

Good relationship lasts as long as two people understand each other and do not load the other with their feelings or likes and dislikes but try to reach a common area of understanding for a healthy relation and lasting one.

Good relationship does not stop whether a person is rich or poor but or has a poor health or is more intelligent. The relationship is there because the two hearts have met in good faith and love ofcourse.

One can not hide anything from a true friend otherwise the good relationship may be straineous and thus may not lost long. For carrying on the good relationship friends have to be true, loving, sacrificing and above all respectful to each other in every thick and thin.Selfishness should not be ever shown.

Trust, honesty, conversation, teaching each other things, telling each other what you like and what you don't like. Going exploring together, some of the best times my Love and I have had were just going to some small town and walking around it to see what's there, if nothing interesting, move on to the next, it's really great to go somewhere where the only person you know is the person you're with. We always seem to make new friends. You can learn something new each day from your partner, no matter how small it might seem. Be open to new ideas. This is a successful recipe for all relationships.

Sometimes, letting go seems like the easiest thing to do. But think about this: you've invested so much of your time and energy into another person; you've made a solemn promise; and you still know there's love, even if it's hiding underneath the surface. As in any relationship, in one word .......COMMUNICATION!
** I believe a true friend will be around in good times and bad....someone you can laugh with and cry with.
*** So, communicate more and spend "time" with friends...it will last!
****But trust me, it helps if you both already have common goals & likes.
