To those who said that money is the root of all evil, you're wrong. Actually, it's the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil.
Anyway, in answer to your question, yes, it's a very lousy way of keeping score.

I think keeping score is a lousy way to keep score. While I applaud being competitive (it is what has made our country thrive) I find "keeping score" is ego driven and there are just to many self centered people out there. Maybe we should "keep score" of how much we look out for and help others.
Now lets all hold hands and sing Coom Bi Ya.

1) Money is not the root of all evil....The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. (this is addressed to those dullards out there)
2) Money is a means of freedom and expression. Some use their money to help others. Some simply attempt to amass more and more as a means unto itself.
3) What score? If you don't play the game, there is no score. Who cares what some Sociopathic or shallow individual does.

Yes. Some people in this world decide to do something w/their lives that they enjoy and find rewarding. In many cases this pays less and sometimes nothing at all. I think that money isn't what makes a person. It's your character, morals and how you decide to live your life despite what society deems as worthy.

I prefer to just live life, but if you're gonna keep score.
It should be by the deeds you've done or the actions you've taken

Yes, but unfortunately these days, if you don't have money, you rarely score.
