That's a very practical idea. And it's no hassle! Just get out your wallet. But Valentine's Day is about romance. And while money may be nice, flowers, chocolates, jewelry, etc are more romantic. And it shows that you were thinking about them. Valentine's Day is about love, and money doesn't always send that message!
How are flowers bad for the environment?? Just a thought....

in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, they say something along the lines of:
"Money is just money. They make more every day. You'd be a fool to trade this for something as common as money."
Now I realize there's a difference between a tour of a factory vs. a box of chocolate and breakfast in bed. But it kind of puts it in the light. What's so special about money? You give and recieve money every day. If you want to show someone how much they mean to you, money is not the way to do it.

the reason is that girls love to get things like choclates and flowers. They are the best when thought is place in them but giving money is like saying, "Here you go this is the smallest amont of thought I could put toward you." So I don't think it is a good idea just to give money, go spend it on something they would like.

Because that is the most thoughtless thing you can do for someone your in love with. That shows them that you have no idea what they are interested in and that you didn't want to make enough effort to find out and take the time to go and buy it.

Because money does not show her how much you really care about her. If you want to show her how much you really care aoubt her then give her flowers or jewelry or something like that.
