Hounds tooth is commonly used for tweed (wool) patter could be replicated on any fabric for effect - also herringbone.

Checkered, may be a tartan pattern used for wool garments but also replicated on cottons, silk, etc.

Small checkered is gingam - usually on cotton.

Tiger print, self explanatory (animal print?)
camoflage - who knows, military print??

Sorry, just checked your blog, the black and white is an enlarged hounds tooth pattern.

The red and black is a take on tartan. and this type is associated with lumberjacks and woodsmen - I'm not kidding.
