why are so many so sensitive and touchy???
i mean, if you find a question stupi or offensive, why would you even give it a second look or thought????? why even answer???

Some people feel very passionate about certain subjects....others just don't have a life. And SOME just like to get into any drama possible. Sometimes it's fun, I admit. Sometimes I am the one that gets bothered by some raging idiot asking an offensive question. (and it has to be REALLY offensive to get to me) Or sometimes I'm just bored.... Depends. I've gotten hate mail over some totally non-threatening reply I made. And I've gotten "love" mail. Whatever....It's Yahoo Answers...no big deal.

Well, stupid questions deserve stupid answers, and you'll get two points just for answering the stupid ones, so you might as well .... I understand some of the religious ones getting a little heated because people are defending what they believe in, but I don't understand most of the people on here. Also, I don't get the people who get on here and say "My twin brother just died yesterday and I need someone to encourage me" .... gah. If you're mourning someone or whatever, then you shouldn't ... at least, I wouldn't .... automatically get on the computer and look for support from people I don't know who aren't necessarily who they say they are .....
It's a good concept behind this whole "get your questions answered and help some other people out while you're at it" but I think it's been taken a little too far.
People needs LIVES around here .....
That is, no offense to you, seeing your screen name. I really like your name, I was speaking of the ones that get super emotionally involved, not people like me who spend too much time on the computer ....

To answer #1:
They may be having a bad day. Maybe some are just trying to cause trouble for fun. Perhaps its just their personality.
#2: Some people, like myself on occasions, like to go to stupid questions to voice my opinion and hopefully make the person think twice about it. Why let the stupid run amock and continue that way of life? Give them something to think about so they can hopefully better themselves to join their rare but more intellectual peers.
#3: I don't get hate mail....yet!

I know what you mean, and it's infectious. I just answered a question about an upper gi series. Now, I feel there is a sort of "aha, I know more about this" attitude displayed by some people. I was given a thumbs down for some stupid reason probably, but the point is, I had a feeling about who gave it to me, and I gave this person a thumbs down. See what I mean about it being infectious????

Most of the people on here take everything as a joke. Others, well, I think that they were both without a sense of humor and don't realize humor when they see it.

I had one guy, from out of the blue, write and ask me if I was a transvestite......and then he proceeded to call me everything but a child of god. To this day, I have no idea what his deal was.....
