No romance for me this year, but other years, 25 to 100 depending on the depth of the relationship and money available, but mostly due to money factors.

Absolutely not :) Probably because we are always skint. I think if my other half spent more than a tenner on me I would freak!
I don't expect to get anything. He shows me he loves me every day, so tomorrow will be no different.
I actually think it's wrong to expect anything from anyone. I like the idea of secret admirers sending anonymous cards and I think it's a sweet day for teens and possibly "new" couples, but apart from that I think it can get a little silly sometimes.
Dinner being cooked is nice, going out for a meal is nice, but the priority should surely be making sure you get to spend time together, shouldn't it? Particularly in todays society when couples find it harder and harder to find the time to be together because of work and other family commitments.
If you are giving gifts I genuinely believe that something homemade is much nicer, showing that you care for that person enough to put aside the time to think about him or her.

Not a jot.
Me and my boyf have decided there are better ways to show our love for one another than Valentines gifts, which we won't appreciate (usually we just go for a meal anyway). So we're saving our money for those things instead i.e. living under the same roof and spending the rest of our lives together.
Also, we're too skint to afford a posh meal out at the mo, so we've just put it on hold till the budget improves!

I would spend more if I wasn't a uni student, but there you go I guess... I brought him a present, and card. New champagne glasses, and candles and it came to about £60-70...
How about you? Doing anything special?

No. For me it is so...strange that people buy red hearts and lots of unusual things...every day we can buy something for our loved ones...
