Why not...John 3:16 says something to the effect of God so loved the world that he gave his only son. What do you do on Valentine's? You give someone or people you love tokens of your affection. Jesus is more than a token but it's the same concept. God loves us so he gave us his son as a savior. That's how I see it anyway! And I don't think just because Jesus didn't die on Valentine's means that the concept can't be applied. Actually, if you love someone, Valentine's Day shouldn't be a holiday. The things you do on that day should be done always...out of genuine love, care, kindness, whatever.

well, it could, but i think it is usually associated with Easter, not Valentine's; it's a gift from God, generally-speaking, i guess you can associate it with any holiday you want, altho i doubt Valentine's day existed when Jesus died.
