Out of 10 pair of my levis, only one pair has the washing instructions stamped on the pocket, so I'm thinking that may make them special. Does anyone have info about this? I have done online research & can't find anything about a stamped pocket.

Levi's are made in several countries (i.e., Mexico). Some use tags others print on the material. Check the country of origin.

yea they have to be washed according to what the instructions say if you want them to last and continue to look the same
if wash wash them not following the instructions you can ruin you jeans by fading the color

I'm impressed. Most don't bother. Just wash in cold water, tumble dry low, or line dry.
