14 - 18 weeks, as long as baby cooperates. My sister didn't find out til she was 25 weeks cause the baby wouldn't spread her legs and let the doctor see on the ultrasound. Lol, no if the baby is in the right position and the doctor can get a clear view 14 - 18 weeks.

Some people are able to find out as early as 12 weeks or so if the baby is "showing the goods". It depends on the position of the baby though and is rare. Most of the time though, because babies are still so tiny at 12 weeks gestation, an ultrasound is done around 20 weeks to determine the sex as well as take measurements and look for any problems.
When talking about pregnancy, it's easier to speak of weeks rather than months, although everyone always wants to know how many months along someone is. 20 weeks translates to about 5 months pregnant.

Most doctors like to wait till you are between 19 and 22 weeks. But you can find out as early as 15/16 weeks thats when I found out I was having a boy but we waited till I was 19 1/2 weeks and redid it to make sure.

Normally an ultrasound is done after 17 weeks to determine the sex of a child.

I'm 1 week shy of 5 months pregnant and I just found out last week I'm having a little boy!!
