The poor kids in Nova Scotia used to bring lobster sandwiches in their lunch. And the other kids would pick on them for it.

Johnny-Cake and gravy for the needy. Apparently monkey brains are a delicacy in some Country(Can't recall) Saw it in a movie called "Faces Of Death" Creepy stuff in there.

Chocolate and Cake used to be a delicay, now they are both VERY common. We all have cake for our birthday, wedding, and other occassions. and WE ALL eat chocolate on a daily basis! lol

Polenta, once fodder for impoverished Italian peasants, suddenly became ubiquitous in pretentious restaurants and glossy cookbooks in the mid-90's. Personally I can't stand the stuff.
