"Everything is possible" is an absolute statement. It includes the impossible, the probable, and the improbable.
"It is possible that something is impossible" is a relative statement, because it is arguable from a logical standpoint, and therefore becomes a matter of perception, and is open to speculation about what that "something" is.
"Nothing is impossible", is also an absolute statement, because it also includes the possible, the probable, and the improbable.
Taken literally, "Nothing, is impossible", is a relative statement, because we do not know whether it is possible for there to be nothing, but is possible for us to know in the future whether the statement is true.

Nothing is impossible...improbable, unlikely but never impossible!
I think that was from a cartoon in the 80's, The Real Ghostbusters if memory serves! Always liked it as a quote so I thought I'd share!

The idea that something is impossible is a foundation in logic.
Ever play minesweeper on the computer. The whole idea of that game is logic based on deducing what is possible and impossible.
Science, mathematics, and logic all deal with impossible all the time.

Just because something isn't impossible, doesn't necessarily make it possible (due to the different probabilities of things)

Well I think that term comes from perspective. Its about how you look at things, such as humans cant fly, but we can - on a plane. You cant bring someone back from the dead, it impossible, but its not if they are still alive in spirit! Look at Anna Nicole Smith, although she is dead, she is still very much alive!
You can make these words mean what you like!
