okay conception date means when i had sex...the sperm got to the egg yeah?? im a little confused silly question i know

Wow, you'd think gals would know this...apparently none of you do!........anyway, conception is the point at which a sperm fertilizes an egg...not when you had sex.
Now, please note that sperm may actually live inside your body for several days.

Basically its the moment at which the sperm and egg meet and form a zygote. Could be the day you had sex, could be a couple days later. Its the day the baby was formed.

That sounds about right I concieved on Jan 1st of 2006 and my due date going by my LMP was September 26.

Conception date is date of ovulation. Intercourse could have taken place in the 5 days before or the day of ovulation.
