I suffer this nearly all the time. Ch4, 5 & all ITV1-4 & several other commercial stations are rarely available.
We're about midway between the London and Southern transmitters, so usually both signals are pretty weak and borderline though sometimes one of them is stronger than normal and all the freeview stations become available!

I'm near Oswestry, not a million miles away, and our digi TV is unwatchable.
Weve spent £600 on 3 new arial instalations on the advice of Freeview - none of it works in our area. All they can say is the signals will get boosted when they turn off the analogue.
Great, so which TV do i buy this weekend ? One I can watch for just the next 2 years, or one i can't watch for the next 2 years ?

Hi i lost a few of my channels and all i had to do was find them again and wait fill it searched for them. It took a few goes i got them in the end. But if in your area you cant get a good signal you may not beable to have a decent freeview recpetion.
