I am looking to do something with my wife, but we are going to go out this weekend because we have a 3 yr old and a 4 yr old. The problem is, like many, we live paycheck to paycheck and this week we are very tight finacially. Anyone have a no cost romantic ideas?

Ask a friend or relative to take the kids - pick a movie rental that she's been wanting to see (or better yet - one that you both wanted to see but missed in theaters b/c of expense (been there). Yes, cook. But it doesn't have to be anything exotic. Even spaghetti is good if it's b/c you're showing effort & love. Buy whatever flowers you can afford, and maybe a chocolate bar. Snuggle up, watch the movie - feed each other microwave popcorn, and just be a couple for awhile.

And - as the sage said - rub her feet.

Wow this sounds like my marriage.

Well, personally I just like the time and togetherness. Maybe select a nice place to go for a walk/talk. Reminisce about the good times or when you first meet. Women like to talk and communicate. So get put your vocal cords to work. Try not to surround yourselves with lots of other people, defiantly other women! Women want to feel like they are the only one you ever want to lay eyes on. Compliment how she looks, smell, smiles, and etc.

FLIRT! FLIRT! FLIRT! Flirt like you were trying to win her heart all over again! or on a first date! Sweep her away with a poem or romantic lyrics from "your song". Surely you or your wife has said...."This is our song." Quote the verses to her or a new love song that reminds you of how much you love her.

As a mother of a 3 & 4 year old. Do stuff for her, that she would normally do for the family. She would appriciate that a lot. Usually, men think they can buy love. But most women just like to be finessed and loved. Show it by your actions and words. Not nessessarly thru sex either. But maybe a nice foot or shoulder rub. With kisses on the neck or toes. Use your imagination.

If sex is on your mind..... TRY BEING A TEASE! Make her want you. Don't throw yourself at her, but nibble on her. Touch her with passion. Make her want you to touch her more. SOFTLY! With Emotion. Don't move to fast.

Buy and leave roses or rose petals around the house or town, with notes taking her on a romantic journey. Maybe send 1 rose to her at work (if she works) along with a note. Saying find Rose #2 at daycare/child caregiver when you get drop them off or pick them up or something. Rose #2 and note say ... go home and get dressed. Then leave rose pedals to the bed or rose #3 with a note saying meet me at resturant @ 8pm. Leave rose #4 with Resturant host/hostess for when she arrives. Something to that nature. My husband did this one time and it left me curious where or what I was going to end up doing. You don't have to use this example but even notes and rose petals around the house even.

If she's the mom of a 3 and 4 year old, you can't go wrong with giving her a nice foot rub or back massage. Chances are, she already has a great bottle of lotion that you can use, too. Oh, and I don't recomend the other woman thing.

Go for a drive up one of the snowy canyons. Play boardgames with a romantic twist to them. Rent a movie.

Cook for her. Women love getting a break from household duties.
