Well about 5 days ago or so, my mother droped my phone in the snow and we couldn't find it for all 5 days. i just found it today and it still turns on and it still works but i cant see what the actual screen says. is there anyway to dry that out or do i have to get a new phone. and if i do have to get a new phone do i have to activate a new number or can i just transfer my sim card into that phone and use my same number.

My sister left her phone in the pocket of her pants. It then went through wash and dry. It wouldn't turn on. She tried several times over the course of a few days. Well when I went to visit I went to salvage her cell phone battery (I have the same phone). Just for the heck of it, I stuck my cell phone battery into her phone and tried to turn it on.

It worked. It's been working for 6 months now. Just let it sit for a while powered off.

it'll be cheaper to get a new phone. if you buy a phone with the same company then you should be able to transfer sim cards (it works in the UK anyway)

First, smack your mom (he he he kidding) I USED my phone in a slight drizzle & killed it. Had to get new phone. Was able to transfer number. Good luck!
